03.04.23 Martins Hut
Der Longwood Forest ist der matschigste Abschnitt des gesamten Trails. Ich bin mehrfach bis über meine Knie im Morast eingesunken und war den ganzen Tag in nassen Schuhen unterwegs. Am Ende des Tages habe ich das erste Mal die Südküste und auch das Ende des Trails, Bluff, gesehen.

Tenā koe Frank. The Longwoods are notorious for the incessant mud, and now, the cold. With the sight of the South Coast, and the arrival of Colac Bay, you are in the last days of reaching Bluff, and the end of your TA. This night as you rest and sleep in Riverton, I am sure so much will be going through your mind.
Well done! Take in your last few days, and very soon to be, the remaining hours.
All the very best, as your steps ever increasingly, will take you to the Southern sign, that is at Bluff.
So, your TA began with the sign at Cape Reinga, so too will you finish with THE sign. To touch, and get your iconic photograph, that will forever celebrate and commemorate your accomplishment of your TA.
