Gräser und wolkenverhangene Berge haben heute das Bild geprägt. Der Regen hat sich noch bis zum Eintreffen des Shuttles zurückgehalten, ist danach aber um so heftiger gefallen. Heftig genug, um morgen einen Ruhetag in Geraldine zu verbringen. Übermorgen geht es dann auf der südlichen Seite des Rangitata Rivers weiter.

I hope the weather isn’t too cold down there. I suspect it is though.
We have a sobo arriving today. She is walking the river road. It is a 28km walk from where she is coming. We expect her by 4pm.
